What you can expect
The Tahiti Lagoon Resort is conveniently located on the west coast of Tahiti, in a huge tropical garden on the edge of a white sand beach and facing the turquoise lagoon of the Pointe des Pêcheursin, Punaauia. Built in 1998, the hotel was managed by the hotel chain LE MERIDIEN until 2018 before joining the ACCOR group under the trade name TAHITI IA ORA by SOFITEL.. Closed in 2020, the hotel will reopen its doors in 2026 after a refresh of the rooms and common areas and the construction of a new restaurant on the beach. TAHITI LAGOON RESORT is dedicated to offering exemplary service and affordable prices to a customer who is always very happy, local and international, and is also committed to sustainable development through eco-responsible approaches implemented to minimize its carbon footprint, reduce its waste and ensure the protection of the lagoon. The property has undergone a complete renovation: the 2,000 m² lagoon-style swimming pool has been entirely rebuilt and surrounded by white sand, guest rooms have been refreshed and upgraded, public areas modernized, the large show venue renovated, and the gardens redesigned to better host events. New facilities now include three padel courts, a relaxed beachfront restaurant & bar accommodating up to 300 guests, as well as an ambitious CSR program featuring solar panels, water-saving initiatives, and local recruitment. They have preserved what truly defines the spirit of the TAHITI LAGOON RESORT: the traditional Polynesian Sunday brunch, the Tahiti Ora Friday evening dinner show, and the Artists’ Workshop with painting classes. These signature experiences will be gradually relaunched during the soft opening phase.

Unless otherwise stated, prices include SHARE TWIN / DOUBLE accommodation (although local taxes may be payable directly) and inclusions as specified. Special conditions apply for all Bonus Inclusions. Prices are in NZ dollars and subject to currency fluctuations and are for payment by direct deposit into our New Zealand bank account. QCard & Credit Card prices are available on application. Amendment and cancellation fees do apply and can be up to 100% after booking is confirmed. Our prices exclude international airfares unless otherwise stated, however should airfares be purchased they are usually non-refundable, non-transferable, name changes are not permitted, include all prepayable airline surcharges, levies and airport taxes, require full payment for ticketing purposes at time of booking, and additional airfare rules will apply – please contact our specialists for more information. Unless otherwise stated, a maximum of two children aged 2 – 11 years must be accompanied by 2 adults, share the same room and use existing bedding. Our package deals must be booked by 31 March 2027, capacity restrictions may apply, and accommodation & airfares may not be available at time of booking.
