Papeete, June 9, 2026
Air Tahiti Nui stood out yesterday at the Cellars in the Sky Awards ceremony, organized by Business Traveller magazine. The Polynesian airline has been recognized for two of the wines served in its Poerava Business Class.
The awards were presented in London during the ceremony held on Monday, June 8. Two wines featured in Air Tahiti Nui’s Business Class wine selection were honoured:
- Silver Medal in the Business Class Sparkling Wine category for Charles Heidsieck Champagne Brut Réserve.
- Bronze Medal in the Business Class Red Wine category for Mas Fabregous, AOP Terrasses du Larzac 2023
The event also marked the 40th anniversary of the prestigious competition. The Cellars in the Sky Awards are organized by Business Traveller, an international magazine dedicated to business travel and aviation news. Each year, during a blind tasting, wine experts evaluate the wines served by airlines worldwide in their First and Business Class cabins.
Charles Heidsieck Champagne and Mas Fabregous red wine are two refined French wines that subtly complement menus blending Polynesian and international flavors.
On board its Tahitian Dreamliner, Air Tahiti Nui places particular emphasis on offering its passengers an immersive and harmonious sensory experience, from take-off to landing, ensuring memorable journeys.
These awards recognize the work of the airline’s teams, who have carefully crafted a high-quality wine list in collaboration with Head Sommelier Olivier Poussier.
