Air Tahiti Nui introduces its new baby kit available on board

Following the launch of its redesigned children’s kit in 2025, Air Tahiti Nui is introducing a new version of its baby kit designed for infants aged 0 to 2 years. The airline is thus enhancing the comfort of babies on board with practical childcare accessories.
Air Tahiti Nui is pleased to introduce its new baby kit, offered to families traveling with an infant (up to 2 years old). This kit consists of a tote bag decorated with Polynesian patterns, containing accessories tailored to family travel:
- A decorated bib;
- An “airplane” spoon for fun meals;
- The essential spare diaper;
- As well as a colorful cotton gauze swaddling cloth.
On our flights, bottled water suitable for infants is available upon request. Air Tahiti Nui also offers the option of reserving a complimentary baby meal (food jars suitable for children up to 1 year old), a children’s meal, and/or a bassinet for the comfort of your little ones. Air Tahiti Nui’s new baby kit features a brand-new mascot: Tohorā, the whale. In Polynesian culture, the whale is a symbol of wisdom and protection. Every year between July and November, these giants of the Pacific migrate to The Islands of Tahiti’s warm waters to give birth to their calves, safe from predators. These majestic animals are protected, making French Polynesia one of the world’s largest cetacean sanctuaries.
Air Tahiti Nui’s baby kit offers our youngest travelers a gentle introduction to the culture and spirit of our islands. Children ages 3 to 7 can enjoy another educational and fun kit, tailored to their age group. This kit includes a reusable drawstring bag, an activity booklet, colored pencils, a card game, and a puzzle game.
