The iconic Cook's Bay Hotel of Moorea has completed its 2-year renovation works and is now open for guests to enjoy. Ideally located on the shores of one of the two large bays of Moorea, the Cook’s Bay Hotel & Suites is an iconic property of the 1980s. Relaunching in 2023, the hotel presents 38 suites, including two family suites, spread across 5 wings. The suites located at the garden-level offer direct beach and pool access, while the upper floor boasts wider views of the island. Each beautifully designed suite features a bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a lounge area, a kitchenette, and a spacious balcony. The Family Suites offer more space and sophistication thanks to a corner balcony and two separate bedrooms with ensuite bathroom built around the lounge and dining area. Just a few steps away from these beachside abodes, relax and indulge on the hotel’s private outdoor area. Surrounding a large mirror-like swimming pool, the well-appointed space spreads all the way down to a white-sand beach, where a pristine and shallow lagoon invites you to cool down throughout the day. Travel deeper into relaxation with the selection of refreshments available at the hotel’s pool bar, including cocktails bursting sun-drenched local flavors. Easily accessible via the wooden walkway or directly from the sea via the floating pontoon, the hotel’s restaurant & bar Le Cook’s boasts a 180-degree view across the bay, its surrounding peaks, the pass and the Pacific Ocean. It offers the rare opportunity in Moorea to dine by the water.The impressive beams covering the roof and the open kitchen give the dining space a warm feel, completing the natural and earthy tones of the restaurant’s modern and exotic décor.
